Junior Achievement Bowl-A-Thon
Junior Achievement Rock-n-Bowl

When: Saturday, March 27, 2010 time: 3:00pm-5:00pm

Where: The Suncoast Bowling Center - 9090 Alta Drive, Las Vegas, Nevada 89145

What: The annual Junior Achievement Bowl-A-Thon is right around the corner…and no, you don’t have to be a great bowler to be successful. All you need is enthusiasm! Each year, more than 2,000 participants get together to raise funds for Junior Achievement…and have a great time. Simply volunteer to put together a five-person team, raise at least $100 per person from friends, family, neighbors, colleagues and acquaintances. On the day of the event, bowlers will be greeted by music, decorations, food, prizes, and much more. All bowlers will have the opportunity to win fabulous prizes based on the amount of money each raises. The Bowl-A-Thon is a means to raise money to support the economic programs Junior Achievement will provide to 15,000 students in Southern Nevada. You have a great opportunity to get involved with the nation’s leading provider of economic education programs. Junior Achievement dedicates itself to our schools and our children by providing volunteers that bring real-life experience to the subject matter that the students are currently learning. Junior Achievement also gives students a hands-on opportunity to explore all facets of the work world including workforce readiness, personal and global economics, the relevance of mathematics in business, the importance of staying in school, and many more practical messages designed to help prepare tomorrow’s future workers and community leaders.
